[su_social_media_top]Julie Kersey, 27, shares a recipe for Sweet 'n' Sour Snack. Julie is originally from Georgia and now lives outside Mexico City, where she and Matthew David are helping develop a system of year-round sustainability and home-grown food production. They are also helping teach children in an orphanage school the basic aspects of education and about nutrition, plants, composting and other lifestyle and culture topics. Julie and Matthew's website is the former NaturesPilgrim.com.
"Here is a simple recipe that my lovely friend Susan Aman helped me to discover after spending a wonderful night in her and her husband’s company," Julie says. "Usually, I would not combine citrus and sweet fruits together because of their different digestion rates; however, when I experienced this delicious snack, I was able to enjoy it without any bloating. I would suggest, though, that if you decide to enjoy this snack, not to eat it in excess."
Ingredients
